Need Research and Citation Help?

If you need help with research and citations, you can speak to the reference librarian at the reference desk. Librarians also have offices located in the center pod of the library. You can also contact librarians through chat, email, and text.

Need to get a Student ID card?

If you need to get a student ID card made, you can ask the staff at the front service desk. You will need a valid ID, a copy of your schedule, and your Lone Star ID number.

Need Tutoring Help?

The STAR Center provides a variety of tutoring services designed to support the development of independent learning skills and establish a sound foundation for academic success. These services include one-on-one and group tutoring, academic skills workshops, academic coaching, homework labs, and study aids. All services are provided free of charge. 

Need Writing Help? 

If you need help with your writing assignments, you can visit The Write Place located in building G, room 103. Our writing consultants include faculty from various disciplines.  We are available for one-on-one consultations to help with any writing project at any stage of the writing process.
