What is the difference between Tutor Match and Live Help online tutoring services?

Tutor Mach provided through Brainfuse platform, offers access to online tutoring with Lone Star College tutors. It is free and unlimited to all current LSC students during the scheduled hours. Students can request an appointment with any tutor across the system; however, if they want to work with an LSC-Montgomery tutor, they can select a tutor with an "MC" designated at the end of their name. To make a Tutor Match appointment:
- Sign in to My.Lonestar.edu and click the LSC-Online Tile.
- Select "Online Tutoring" option" to access Brainfuse Tutor Match.
- In the Tutor Match section, select a Topic and Subject from the dropdown list.
- Click "Schedule" to request a session date and time with a tutor.
- Complete the request form and select "Request Session".
- The notification will appear on your calendar after requesting an appointment.
- Tip: Notice that your appointment has not yet been confirmed and the "Enter" button will appear after the tutor confirms the appointment.

Live Help is provided by Brainfuse tutors and offers only 90 minutes free of charge online. No appointment is necessary, and Brainfuse tutors are available on demand in a variety of subject areas. Math and English real-time assistance are available almost 24 hours a day; for other subjects, availability varies.
